Newly-housed families are encouraged and empowered to personalize their home with items they find themselves. To give the dignity of independence to our guests - both current and newly-housed - we accept only donations on the following list.

What can Family Promise accept?

  • Welcome Home Kits and items (cleaning and hygiene products)
  • Air mattresses
  • Clothing
  • Small household items (lamps, kitchen appliances)
  • Dishes
  • Work clothing/uniforms (scrubs, work boots)
  • New toys
  • Folding furniture (TV trays, folding tables, folding chairs)

What can Family Promise NOT accept?

  • Beds (unless they fold up)
  • TVs
  • Art
  • Camping or sporting good equipment
  • Furniture (unless it folds up)
  • Used car seats
  • Used shoes
  • Used toys
  • Books
